Voltaren Gel is not for use by women. It is not intended for use by women who are pregnant, are nursing, or are planning to have a baby.
Voltaren Gel has been shown to cause mild to moderate pain in adults. It may also cause stomach ulcers and bleeding in children. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns about the use of Voltaren Gel in your child.

Certain other medicines can affect how Voltaren works. Tell your health care provider any medicines you are taking that contain NSAIDs, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), calcium-channel blockers (such as,,,, ), anticonvulsants (such as, ), digoxin (such as, ), and medications that contain hormones. Also tell your health care provider if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. If pregnant or breastfeeding, tell your health care provider before taking Voltaren gel.
Store Voltaren gel at room temperature away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of the reach of children.
PrecautionsBefore using Voltaren gel, especially if you have an allergy or sensitivity to other NSAIDs, tell your health care provider if you have asthma, a history of asthma attacks, or a history of allergic reactions to other NSAIDs, including Voltaren gel. Also tell your health care provider if you have or have had asthma, a history of asthma attacks, or kidney or liver disease.
Voltaren gel may decrease the amount of diclofenac that you take, which can make your pain worse. If you have an allergy to diclofenac, tell your health care provider before using Voltaren gel.
